Local Food in the News

In case you haven’t heard, there’s a new market in the Flathead. Now you can can visit two markets on the same day, it’s almost a block market. Along with the Farmer’s Market put on by the Columbia Falls Chamber of Commerce, walk across the street to O’Brian’s liquors. Make thursday, market thursday and head to Columbia Falls for music, food and friends. Here’s a nice article in 406 Magazine.. Go to page 15.

Ooh look at this..there is a great article in the Summer Edition Flathead Living magazine. Click on the link to check out the e-edition of Flathead Living featuring some of our favorite farmers, Buggy Road Farm and Two Bear Farm. Our demand for locally grown, nutritious produce and products is being noticed and the need is being filled by our friends and neighbors. If you’ve ever felt your choices didn’t make a difference, just check out our increasing number of local farmer’s markets. We have good land, good people( including a great population of young hard-working apprentices) and a community that supports it’s people. Don’t we live in a great place!
