Blackfeet-Nourish Project

The Blackfeet-Nourish Project is a program of Nourish the Flathead.  The mission of the Project is to support the efforts of the Blackfeet Food Bank in providing for the food needs of their community in Browning, MT.  The Blackfeet Food Bank serves families in a region stretching from Babb to Cut Bank, East Glacier to Heart Butte as well as the residents of Browning.

The mission of Nourish the Flathead is to connect people to the source of their food and to those who produce it through education, outreach, and market support. Our work is focused on increasing good food access, supporting food security programs, and youth empowerment.

To aid in our supporting role in the work of the Blackfeet Food Bank, Nourish applied to the Montana Food Bank Network to be a partner agency. This partnership allows Nourish to use donations for the Blackfeet-Nourish Project to purchase food for the Blackfeet Food Bank.  Nourish is also able to use donations to support local food producers by purchasing their food for donation to the Food Bank.
